Hi gang, Good news! We have an opportunity to play the Presidio Golf Course at a special discounted rate. We have 4 tee times booked starting at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday May 17. It's normally $99, but I was able to get a discounted rate of $80 including cart and range balls.
I have a request and a question for you.
We need to pay in advance so I need to get a firm count ASAP. Please let me know one way or another if you're interested. I'm going to give the course a firm count by the end of next week.
Also, the course normally tacks on a $5 gift certificate, and we add $10 to cover prize funds. That would raise the entry fee to $95. I realize times are tough out there, so one option would be to skip the prizes for this tournament. We'd still count the results for the end of season results, but there would be no prize money. So let me know which option you'd prefer:
A: $80 with no prize money
B: $95 with prize money, closest to the pin, and long drive contest.
thanks,
Tom
The prestigious Presidio golf course opened for public play in 1995 and has quickly gained a reputation as one of the nation's top public courses. Located just minutes from downtown San Francisco, this 18-hole course plays 6,500 yards of challenging golf winding through beautiful Eucalyptus and Monterey Pine trees in The City's trademark hills.
